With our continued growth, we currently have PRN Physician Assistant (Saturday, 8am-2pm) openings to join our client's employee health center located in Las Vegas , NV who will :

Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in health center under direction of Physician. This includes the employees, dependants and retirees of our client.

Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.

Records physical findings, and formulates treatment plan and prognosis.

Provides written home-going instructions. Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.

Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.

Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

Educates and coaches nursing staff on best nursing practices.

Requirements

Graduate of a degree program accredited by the ARC-PA.

Minimum two year’s of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in a primary care, urgent care or emergency department setting. Previous OB/GYN experience preferred.

Licensed as a Physician Assistant in addition to an active certification from NCCPA.

Current BLS certification is required through AHA or ARC. ACLS preferred.

Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Site Medical Director, if allowed within state of practice.

Bilingual skills a plus.
